February 23, 1870 (recorded March 8, 1870):
John B.'s wife Sarah along with her brothers and sisters sold 386 acres in Alcorn County, Mississippi for $450. [AlC deed CC:196-7]

January 10, 1872 (recorded February 9, 1872):
John B. bought the south east quarter of Section 11, Township 2, Range 8 East for $800. [AlC deed 1:193]

February 13, 1872 (recorded February 24, 1872):

Her assessed personal property was 7 head of cattle valued at $55, 2 horses valued at $100, 1 mule valued at $50, 1 carriage valued at $25 and a piano valued at $50 and she paid a state tax of $1.82.
