June 15, 1917:
According to Harmon's World War I Draft Registration Card he was a gas engineer for an irrigation company in Yuma County, Arizona. He was short and of slender build with blue eyes and light brown hair.

Harmon was an ambulance driver in France during World War I. [Thelma]. He was a sergeant in the 1st Air Mech Regiment. [interment.net]

1920:
Harmon and his wife were renting on N. San Antonio Avenue in Pomona, Los Angeles County, California where he was working as a stationary engineer.

1930:
Harmon was a fruit farmer in Yuba Township, Sutter County, California. [census-Ca]
